UpSlide's AI features are built on an enterprise-grade foundation of security and data privacy, leveraging Microsoft Azure AI Foundry to ensure your sensitive information remains protected at all times.
UpSlide's Security Commitments
Data Processing & Storage
UpSlide takes a privacy-first approach to AI processing:
- Dedicated infrastructure: All client data is processed within a dedicated Microsoft Foundry used exclusively by your company, operating entirely within Microsoft Azure's secure framework and compliance boundary. No data is shared with other clients or any third party.
- Encrypted transmission: Presentations and text are transmitted via encrypted channels, processed temporarily, and deleted immediately after use
- Zero data retention: No data is stored or retained by the AI models
- No training: AI models are not configured for training, prompts and completions are not used to train, retrain, or improve foundation models
- Minimal data transfer: Only the minimum data necessary for feature execution is sent (e.g., open presentation or selected text for AI Assistant)
Compliance & Security Standards
UpSlide maintains rigorous compliance standards:
- SOC 2 compliant: UpSlide infrastructure complies with SOC 2 certification standards covering security, availability, processing integrity, and confidentiality (ISO 27001 certification coming soon)
- Transparent architecture: Complete architecture and compliance documentation are available here
- Microsoft's commitments: Microsoft provides comprehensive data privacy and security commitments for Microsoft Foundry services. Please read this article.
