UpSlide's Logo Finder allows you to access high-quality logos straight from PowerPoint: search for and insert logos directly from within your UpSlide Library pane.
How to use the Logo Finder
Searching for logos
- Go to the UpSlide tab and click Library. The Library pane will open on the right. It might load for a short moment if this is the first time you open it.
- Once the Library is open, navigate to the Logo Finder tab at the top ( You can also directly open the Logo Finder tab with the Ctrl+Alt+L shortcut ).
- You will automatically land on the Search pane. To search for a logo, type the name of the company and hit Enter or select among the suggestions.
- To insert one logo, double-click on it or click on the logo and Insert at the bottom-right corner of the pane.
Inserting multiple logos at the same time
If you need to insert logos from different companies, you can search for the logos you need and insert them all at the same time:
Searching for logos one by one
- Having the Logo Finder open, search for the first logo you need.
- Select the logo you wish to add by clicking on it once. The logo you selected will now appear at the bottom of the pane in the Selected logos section.
- Search for the next logos you want to add. Any logos you select will be added to the Selected logos section at the bottom.
- Once you are ready to add selected logos to your slide, click Insert at the bottom-right corner of the pane.
- UpSlide will insert both the first and second logos and will open the Layout pane for you to arrange them on your slide.
Bulk searching logos
- Having the Logo Finder open, navigate to the multi-search option by clicking the icon in the search bar.
- Type in the names of the companies for which you want to get logos and separate the names with a comma.
- Once done, click Search, and UpSlide will display drop-down menus for each company you searched for so you can easily select which logos you want to insert.
- Open each drop-down to select the desired logos. As you select logos for the companies you searched for, they will be added to the Selected logos section.
- Once done, click Insert and your logos will be added to the slide.
Arranging logos with the Layout pane
Once you have inserted your logos, you will then be able to save time resizing, positioning and arranging by using the Layout pane.
Choosing an area to arrange logos
Choose how to rearrange the logos in your selected area you would like to position your logos using the selection, or alternatively, you can select Custom positioning.
Select the area you wish to arrange logos into, or alternatively, draw a new area for arrangement.
If you would like to arrange logos in a new area within your slide, you can choose to Draw new area.
- Select Draw new area.
- Use the pointer to draw a new box as the desired area.
- You will then see this will appear as a new option under Area.
Positioning logos within your selected area
Choose how to rearrange the logos in your selected area you would like to position your logos using the selection, or alternatively, you can select Custom positioning.
- Select Custom.
- Define the number of columns and rows by toggling the arrows, or by typing in desired number.
- This will automatically update the positioning of your logos.
Bulk applying size properties
Resize one or multiple logos based on your selection, adjusting the size to fit your needs easily.
- If not selected already, select logos you wish to resize.
- Under Size you can define the required height and/or width of your selection.
- Select the lock symbol to lock or unlock the sizing Ratio.
Using the Selection pane to rearrange, remove and add logos
View and manage all logos in the placeholder - rearranging, removing or adding logos as needed. Within the selection section, you can:
- Reorder logos using the arrows on the left-hand side.
- Remove a logo by selecting the trash symbol on the right-hand side.
- Add additional logos by selecting Add. This will then bring up the Logo Finder search bar.
- Sort logos in alphabetical order with ease using the Sort Alphabetically symbol.
What if a logo is missing?
It might happen that the logo you are looking for cannot be found in the Logo Finder. In this case, you can easily submit a request, and the right logos will be added to the database.
- In the Logo Finder, click on Logo not found?
- Paste the link to the company website for which the logos are missing, and click Request.
- The right logos will immediately be added to the database, allowing you to insert them into your document straight away.
Once the logos have been requested, they will be added to the database permanently, and you will not have to request them again.
What if a logo is not correct?
If a logo displayed is not correct, whether it doesn't look right, is outdated or has the wrong colours, you can report it.
- Hover over the logo you need to report.
- Select the flag icon in the bottom-right corner.
- A form will open in your browser where you can report inaccurate inaccurate information.
- Once done, click Submit at the bottom of the page to send the report.
