Gantt Charts for PowerPoint (Beta) - Deploying the option

This article guides you through the steps of deploying UpSlide's Gantt Charts option in PowerPoint.

Upload a custom app

You can deploy your customized Office app via the Office 365 Admin Portal.

  • As an IT administrator, click here.
  • In the App type dropdown menu, select Office Add-in.

  • Select Provide link to manifest file and enter the following URL manifest: https://gantt.upslide.net/manifest.xml
  • Click Validate and Next.

Edit Application Assignment

There are 3 options for deployment:

  • Deploy for yourself for test deployment.
  • Entire organization to deploy Gantt Charts for the whole organization.
  • Specific users/groups to deploy to a specific set of users.

After selecting your deployment option and validating the users, click Next.

Accept permissions requests

When you get to this step,  accept the App Permissions and Capabilities. Then, the deployment will start. Please note that the app deployment using the Office 365 Portal can take up to 24 hours to be deployed.

Use Gantt Charts

You can access the option by going in PowerPoint in Home > Add-ins > UpSlide Gantt.
