You use Alt+U to access the UpSlide tab like you would any other tab in the Office applications. If this shortcut conflicts with your other add-ins, you can modify it.
The shortcut to access the UpSlide ribbon can be customized. To avoid conflicts, this customization will only apply to the current application running. This was done by design to avoid conflicts between applications, since PowerPoint, Excel and Word do not share the same tabs and shortcuts.
To modify UpSlide's tab shortcut, follow the steps below:
- Open the application you wish to change the UpSlide tab shortcut in.
- Use Ctrl+Shift+x to open UpSlide's log panel.
- Click Tools > UpSlide Support > Configure UpSlide Tab Shortcut.
- You can now enter the key combination you'd like to use with a maximum of 3 characters.
