This article will guide you through setting up your template's appendices. If you're not familiar with UpSlide's PowerPoint automation, you might want to look at our Getting started article.
Note:
This article refers to a Preview feature. The Preview Mode can only be activated by administrators. To activate the Preview mode, follow the instructions in this article.
In the UpSlide ribbon, go to the References section and click Options, then Appendix Divider. You have 2 options:
- Use the section divider layout. This option will make your appendix divider look exactly like your section divider.
- Use a specific layout. This option will use a different layout for your appendix so you can separate them from your section dividers.
If you select Use a specific layout, go into the Slide Master to create the layout you will use for your appendices. Like the section dividers, you don't need titles or footers on this layout.
Once you're happy with your layout, go in the Options > Appendix Divider and select it in the dropdown menu. There is no automation layout to set up, as the appendix divider will inherit from the section automation layout.
